Lamar Neagle — The 2005 TJ grad is playing his senior season at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The forward finished third in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in points last year with 20 (nine goals, two assists). He currently leads the Rebels with seven goals this season in 12 games. UNLV is currently 7-4-1 on the year.

The Decatur girls golf team won a showdown between two of the better squads in the South Puget Sound League Tuesday against the Thomas Jefferson Raiders to wrap up the SPSL title.
Federal Way resident Danny Wenzel is currently starting for the No. 1-ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons’ men’s soccer team. Wenzel, a freshman, is the Demon Deacons’ starting fullback and has played in 10 matches for 11-0-0 Wake Forest. Wenzel has two assists. Wake Forest won the NCAA national championship last year.
The No. 1-ranked Todd Beamer Titans remained the only unbeaten girls soccer team in the South Puget Sound League South Division with a pair of victories late last week. The Titans beat up Graham-Kapowsin Thursday, 3-0, and downed rival Decatur Saturday, 4-1.
Jeff Forbes will remain an Eagle, at least for the next four years.
