Federal Way’s Melissa Mateus hurls off a pitch during the Eagles’ 16-4 win over the Ballard Beavers March 19. The Eagles trailed 2-0 after the first inning but scored 16 in the next four, including 12 in the fourth to seal the win. Mateus pitched five innings for the win.
