Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for April 28: Artur Davidenko

Artur Davidenko is a track team captain and has qualified in seven events for the upcoming league meet.

Thomas Jefferson High School junior Artur Davidenko, track and field, is the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for April 28.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Drum line.

Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?

A: Chess, drums and photography.

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My Mom and Dad have always supported me.

Q: What is the best advice you were ever given when it comes to your sport?

A: Never give up, be the hardest worker in the room.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

A: Protein shake. You can’t go wrong with a protein shake.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Blown Away” by Hillsong UNITED.

From the Sidelines: TJHS junior Artur Davidenko has an impressive 3.575 cumulative GPA as a junior. He is a captain and takes every opportunity to improve and compete. His work ethic and competitiveness have rubbed off on his teammates, which has led to building a positive team culture. He has qualities for the North Puget Sound League meet in seven track and field events.
