Man stabbed in the leg in Federal Way

The incident was not random and the injured man did not cooperate with the investigation, according to Federal Way police.

One man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with a stab wound to the leg on Tuesday, but refused to cooperate with police, according to Federal Way Police.

Around 12:41 p.m. Sept. 27 near South 317th Street near Gateway Center Boulevard in Federal Way, officers were dispatched to a fight with a knife, according to Cmdr. Kurt Schwan.

Upon arrival, a man was found on the north sidewalk with an apparent stab wound to his leg. An adult female suspect fled the scene on foot prior to the officers’ arrival and was not located, Schwan said.

The injured man refused to identify himself or cooperate with the investigation and provided no information regarding the suspect, Schwan said.

Witnesses stated the incident did not appear to be a random attack. The man was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
