We are seeing fewer restaurants featuring Chilean Sea bass (Patagonian Toothfish). The popularity of the fish has not diminished, with official 2000 catch of 15,000 metric tons (33 million pounds) contrasting with 1990’s catch of 6,000 metric tons (13.2 million pounds).
Aria Dance Company: Based in ballet and explores modern, folk, jazz and character dancing. This non-profit dance company was founded by the current artistic director, Christina Vandenberg-Suju. Dancers range from age 12 and older and must be on pointe. Aria regularly performs throughout the region creating choreography for seasonal presentations while maintaining its company repertoire.
