Federal Way Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from May 9 to Sept. 26 in new location at S. 316th St. between Town Square Park and the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center.

Rosebud Teen Drama Camp: This summer’s teen show for ages 14-20 will be “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Registration is now open and placement auditions will take place on Monday, June 8.
July 21
FW City Council meeting: Federal Way City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on the second floor in Council Chambers, 33325 8th Ave. S. in Federal Way.
July 24
70th Annual Kiwanis Salmon Bake: This annual fundraising event raises funds for community projects benefiting local youth and will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Steel Lake Park. The evening will feature a salmon dinner prepared by John Hatcher of Cafe Pacific as well as a wine and beer garden, live entertainment, silent auction and card wall. Ticket sales are open now.
July 25
Summer Movie in the Park with “Superman” at Town Square Park: Be a punk rocker/intrepid reporter and join this free community movie night, bring blankets, lawn chairs, families and friends. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. and enjoy the free popcorn. Located at 31600 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
July 29
Summer Sounds Free Concerts presents Hair Nation: From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S. 312th St., Federal Way, enjoy an electrifying 1980s rock tribute that closes out July with big hair and even bigger sound.
August 1
Federal Way Pride: This annual festival celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community through performances, booths, music, food trucks and more from 12 to 5 p.m. in Town Square Park in Federal Way.
August 5
Kid’s Day at Steel Lake: Inflatables, performances and entertainers, a stilt walker, concessions and games will fill the day with family fun from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S. 312th St. in Federal Way.
August 6
Summer Movie Series: “Despicable Me”: This free summer movie series is presented by the Arts Foundation Federal Way at 6 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Doors open one hour before the movie for Minion-inspired crafts, silly fun, and junior hero activities.
August 8
Federal Way Community Festival: This free community festival will come alive with the sights and sounds of one of the most diverse populations in the region as we celebrate the cultures and communities that make the City of Federal Way a vibrant place to live, work, and play from 12-4 p.m. at Town Square Park, located at 31620 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. in Federal Way.
August 23
Jane Lynch & Kate Flannery: Join Emmy Award-winner Jane Lynch (“Glee”) and the hilariously charming Kate Flannery (“The Office”) for a raucous night of comedy, song, and unapologetic mischief in The Trouble with Angels at 5 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.

Back 2 School Free Haircuts 2026 at Town Square Park: It’s that time again for Federal Way youth ages 5-18 to get some free haircuts from local stylists and barbers for the first day of school. From noon to 7 p.m., this is a first come, first serve event with no registration. A special shout-out to Bella Red Salon, Castaway Salon and all other hair styling professionals who have helped make this event possible! Located at 31600 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
