Federal Way residents invited to National Day of Prayer event

Family Life Community Church is hosting a National Day of Prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church, 1925 S. 341st Place. Members of a number of different churches will be gathering to offer prayer for the city and nation.

Areas of prayer include a call for strength for city officials; the homeless; people suffering; children’s education and safety; and other topics.

In addition, the City Council has named May 4 as the National Day of Prayer in Federal Way.
