Most Saturdays: Federal Way Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from May 9 to Sept. 26 in new location at S. 316th Street between Town Square Park and the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center.
June 18 through June 21: Friendship Theatre production of Disney’s “Frozen Jr”: This inclusive theatre program features a talented cast of performers of all abilities bringing the beloved story of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and friends to life on stage. With memorable songs, colorful characters, and plenty of heart, this family-friendly production is perfect for audiences of all ages. Performed at Knutzen Family Theatre located at 3200 SW Dash Point Rd. in Federal Way.
June 19 through 21: Kickin’ It Federal Way Festival: A three-day festival celebrating the culture and excitement coming to the Pacific Northwest in 2026. The festival will include a watch party of FIFA World Cup 2026 games, live music, games and activities for families, soccer tournaments and clinics, food vendors, and more. All activities will be free for attendees.
June 20: NAPAC Breakfast Fundraiser: The FWPS Native American Parent Advisory Committee is hosting a breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Applebee’s located at 1801 S 320th in Federal Way.
June 20: Steel Lake Park Work Party: Join the Washington Native Plant Society’s South Sound chapter for some restoration work from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S 312th St. in Federal Way.
June 21: Bonsai Summer Solstice: The Pacific Bonsai Museum is hosting a Summer Solstice Wellness Open House from 4 to 8 p.m. This peaceful celebration will blend movement, mindfulness, nature and art. The museum is located at 2515 S 336th St. in Federal Way.
June 22 – July 31: Rosebud Teen Drama Camp: This summer’s teen show for ages 14-20 will be “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Registration is now open and placement auditions will take place on Monday, June 8.
June 24: Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) public meeting: A public meeting for the SAMP will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, at Wildwood Elementary School, 2405 S 300th St. in Federal Way
June 25: Future Federal Way Youth Solutions Summit: Join Federal Way Mirror reporter Keelin Everly-Lang to learn about local solutions for youth wellbeing in the community, network with local resource groups and create a vision for a better future from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Family Life Center located at 32275 32nd Ave. S in Federal Way.
June 26: Summer Movie Series: “How to Train Your Dragon”: This free summer movie series is presented by the Arts Foundation Federal Way at 6 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Doors open 1 hour before the movie for dragon-themed crafts, Viking adventures, and hero training activities.
June 27: Federal Way Collective Pop Up Event: Join local business owners for a pop-up market featuring a variety of talented local vendors from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Make It Healthy located at 1620 S 312th St Suite C in Federal Way! From handcrafted potions and magical goods to trendy Dubai cups, beautiful plants, artisan candles, lavender products, crochet creations, and so much more—there’s something for everyone
June 27: Free Repair Cafe: Bring your broken household items, clothing and textiles, dull knives and any other item in need of repair to this community-driven Repair Café event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South King Tool Library located at 1700 S 340th St in Federal Way. This is a great opportunity to bring your broken items and learn how to fix them with the help of skilled volunteers.
June 27: Amateur Radio Field Day: Meet your local Federal Way Amateur Radio Club and learn about what they do at this field day from 12 to 5 p.m. at Lakota Park located at 31334 SW Dash Point Road in Federal Way.
June 27: Free Movie in the Park – Disney’s “Zootopia 2”: Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for this free movie (and free popcorn!) from 9 to 11:30 p.m. at Town Square Park located at 2001 S 316th St. in Federal Way.
June 28: Washington K-Ensemble: The Washington K-Ensemble (formerly Washington Chamber Ensemble), a premier Korean choral group, proudly invites you to its 14th Annual Concert. June 30: Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Resource Event: The Department of Community and Human Services’ Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) Supportive Community Outreach Programs and Engagement (SCOPE) team is hosting an event from 4 to 7 p.m. to connect people to education, employment, food assistance, legal services, supports for survivors of domestic violence and much more at the PAEC located at 31510 Pete Von Reichbauer Way S.
July 4: Miles for Meso 5K Walk/Run: Start your Independence Day off by giving back through this annual memorial mesothelioma fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting at876 333rd Street in Federal Way.
July 4: Red, White and Blues Festival: Enjoy live music, food vendors, and family fun all day at Celebration Park, located at 1095 S. 324th St. Federal Way. The main stage lights up at 4 p.m. with diverse performers. Don’t miss the fireworks at 10:15 PM. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Admission and parking are free for all.

July 8: Free concert – Po’okela Street Band: From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S 312th St., Federal Way, enjoy island style music that brings vibrant rhythms and feel good vibes to kick off this free summer concert series.
July 11: City-Wide Serve Day: The 12th annual service day is coming up from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those interested in participating can register by emailing shelleypauls@gmail.com and on the day of can meet at Journey Church for prayer and team assignments, located at 701 S. 320th St. in Federal Way.
July 12: Shark in the Park: This free community event celebrates the Sixgill Shark Capital of the World with a street party, featuring live music, street food and local organizations protecting the health of our local waters from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Redondo Beach located at 28225 Redondo Beach Drive S, Des Moines.

July 18: Celebrate 18 Annual Benefit Dinner: Be part of an unforgettable evening celebrating and honoring young women in our community as they transition to the next stage of their life beyond foster care at this dinner from 6 to 8 p.m.

July 22: Free concert – Presenting Paperback Writer: From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S. 312th St., Federal Way, enjoy a full Beatles experience featuring the timeless hits you know and love in this free summer concert series.
July 24: 70th Annual Kiwanis Salmon Bake: This annual fundraising event raises funds for community projects benefiting local youth and will take place from 4-7:30 p.m. at Steel Lake Park. The evening will feature a salmon dinner prepared by John Hatcher of Cafe Pacific as well as a wine and beer garden, live entertainment, silent auction and card wall. Ticket sales are open now.
July 29: Free concert – Presenting Hair Nation: From 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S. 312th St., Federal Way, enjoy an electrifying 1980s rock tribute that closes out July with big hair and even bigger sound.
August 1: Federal Way Pride: This annual festival celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community through performances, booths, music, food trucks and more from 12-5 p.m. in Town Square Park in Federal Way.
August 5: Kid’s Day at Steel Lake: Inflatables, performances and entertainers, a stilt walker, concessions and games will fill the day with family fun from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Steel Lake Park located at 2410 S 312th St in Federal Way.
August 6: Summer Movie Series: “Despicable Me”: This free summer movie series is presented by the Arts Foundation Federal Way at 6 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Doors open one hour before the movie for Minion-inspired crafts, silly fun, and junior hero activities.
August 8: Federal Way Community Festival: This free community festival will come alive with the sights and sounds of one of the most diverse populations in the region as we celebrate the cultures and communities that make the City of Federal Way a vibrant place to live, work, and play from 12-4 p.m. at Town Square Park, located at 31620 Pete von Reichbauer Way S in Federal Way.
August 23: Jane Lynch & Kate Flannery: Join Emmy Award-winner Jane Lynch and the hilariously charming Kate Flannery for a raucous night of comedy, song and unapologetic mischief in “The Trouble with Angels” at 5 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
