Jazz LIVE at Marine View presents progressive jazz quartet McTuff, featuring Hammond B3 wizard Joe Doria.

The band will perform a free all-ages concert 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at Marine View Church, 8469 Eastside Drive NE, Tacoma. Their mix of musicianship, seasoned songwriting and deep groove leaves no musical stone unturned. Their collaboration began in 2008 as an ode to jazz organ greats Jimmy Smith and Captain Jack McDuff and has evolved into a versatile and exciting funk-jazz group with performances across the nation and two studio albums.

One of the goals at Jazz LIVE at Marine View is to expose the public to the broad variety within the jazz genre. Get ready to groove with the McTuff musical adventure. Info: (253) 229-9206 or www.marineviewpc.org.
