The Federal Way Eagles took home the title at the All-South Puget Sound League Girls Wrestling Tournament Thursday.

The Eagles tallied 136 points to outdistance Rogers at the 21-team tournament, which included schools from the 4A SPSL North and South, the SPSL 3A Division and the SPSL 2A Division.

Senior Bianca Arizpe was the lone Federal Way wrestler to snag an individual title Thursday. Arizpe pinned Kentridge’s Taylor Lee in the 118-pound championship.

Kim Mored, Luaipou Lologo and Roxanne Maidesil all lost in their respective championship matches. Mored lost at 112 pounds, Lologo lost at 155 and Maidesil lost at 190.

The Todd Beamer Titans finished up in sixth place, but finished with two individual championships, which was the most of any SPSL school. Arian Carpio pinned Mored to win the 112-pound title and Vanessa Dixon won an 11-0 decision over Lologo to claim the 155-pound championship.

Beamer also got a third-place finish from Janet Vasega at 190 pounds.

Jefferson ended up in 18th place team finish, which included a pair of fifth-place finishes from Ashley Corletto (118) and Bianca Maggallon (112).
