Todd Beamer volleyball is headed in a new direction.
Titans athletic director Tim Kuykendall announced Kim Culliton will serve as the school’s new head volleyball coach, replacing former coach Whitney Abell.
Culliton has been an assistant coach at Beamer the last two seasons. Prior to joining the Titan coaching staff, Culliton served as head volleyball coach at Bellevue College from 2004-13.
She was named Northern Region Coach of the Year each year from 2008-10 with the Bulldogs, and her teams qualified for the postseason all nine years with the program.
Culliton helped produce two MVPs, several all-league, all-tournament and Players of the Week in the Northwest Athletic Association.
“We are excited to have Kim lead our volleyball program at Todd Beamer High School,” Kuykendall said. “She has a fantastic volleyball background and is committed to our philosophy of developing great scholar athletes for life.”
