Thomas Jefferson cleans up in the pool against Decatur

Raiders won every swam event, losing just the one meter dive in the pool.

Thomas Jefferson swam against Decatur at the Federal Way Community Center on Jan. 16 and dominated the Gators in the pool 126-53.

The Raiders record this season improved to 4-1, with wins over Federal Way, Todd Beamer and Kentlake this season.

In the meet against Decatur, the Raiders won every swimming event. The Gators lone wins were Haakon Aegerter on the 1 meter diving board.

For the Raiders, Scott Andrew and Joeseoph Palomo won multiple races. Andrew won the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke while Palomo won the butterfly and backstroke. Alex Nguyen (200 freestyle), Max Kahn (200 IM), Joeseph Palomo (100 Fly), Haiden Honeywell (500 Freestyle) and Gabe Conrad (100 breast). Thomas Jefferson also swept the day in the relays as well winning all three of the competition.

As far as second place finishers, the Raiders dominated there as well. Of the 12 events, the Raiders finished second in ten of them.

Thomas Jefferson turns their attention to an opponent to be named later on Jan. 23 while Decatur takes on Auburn Mountainview on Jan. 21 at the King County Aquatic Center.
