Forwards

Gabriela Pelogi, Federal Way

The sophomore had another monster season for the Eagles. Pelogi tallied 17 goals and six assists to lead Federal Way into the postseason with a 9-3-6 record. Pelogi was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection by the league’s coaches for the second season in a row. As a freshman, Pelogi also led the Eagles in scoring with seven goals.

Megan Anderson, Beamer

The junior was the Titans’ second-leading scorer this season with eight goals and four assists. Anderson was a second-team, All-SPSL South selection as a forward.

Last season, she played as more of a defender and finished with seven goals and five assists and was also a second-teamer.

Sydney Slagg, Federal Way

The senior captain was the Eagles’ second-leading scorer this season with six goals and four assists. Slagg was a second-team, All-SPSL South selection.

Midfielders

Jenny Hoefel, Beamer

The senior was a first-team, all-state player a season ago and she didn’t disappoint during her final season for the Titans. Hoefel led Beamer in scoring with 10 goals and four assists. She tallied two goals during a 3-0 win over Spanaway Lake on Sept. 29 and was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection by the league’s coaches.

As a junior, Hoefel finished with 18 goals and seven assist and was the Most Valuable Player in the SPSL South.

Bianca Arizpe, Federal Way

The senior was a solid option in the middle of the field for the Eagles this season. Arizpe finished with five goals and was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection. She is also one of the top wrestlers in the state during the winter season.

Jenna Floyd, Beamer

The senior was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection in the midfield despite scoring just one goal on the season. Floyd proved to be a solid defensive option in the middle of the field for the 6-7-3 Titans.

Last season, Floyd was a second-team, All-SPSL South selection after finishing with five goals and five assists for Beamer.

Sierra Shugarts, Decatur

The Gator junior was one of the fastest players in the SPSL 3A Division. Shugarts was an honorable mention pick by the league’s coaches despite not scoring a goal for Decatur, who finished 2-11-0 on the year.

Defenders

Taylor Crace, Beamer

The junior was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection by the league’s coaches after a solid season for the Titans. The Beamer defense finished with four shutouts on the year and didn’t allow more than three goals in a game all season.

Kaitlyn Bird, Jefferson

The sophomore was the Raiders’ best defender all season long, despite the team finishing 2-13-1 in the SPSL North. Bird was a second-team, All-SPSL North selection by the league’s coaches.

Chandler Mader, Federal Way

The junior was a second-team, All-SPSL South selection after leading the backline of the Eagle defense all season long. Mader finished with one gold and one assist on the year.

Goalkeeper

Sarah Shimer, Federal Way

The University of Washington-bound senior was a rock in the back of the Eagles’ defense this season. Shimer finished with an amazing nine shutouts on the season and was the first-team, All-SPSL South goalkeeper.

The Federal Way defense allowed only 15 goals during its entire 18-game season.
