Little League: Federal Way 10/11 All-Stars still going

The Federal Way National Little League All-Stars 10/11 struggled through their game on July 18.

UPDATE: The Federal Way 10/11 All-Stars rebounded Thursday night from their loss Wednesday with a 16-6 victory over District 2 representative Bainbridge Island Little League. The bats were hot up and down the lineup, but the highlight was Mark Wright’s home run, his third of the post-season. The tournament continues for FWN with a game against District 4 representative Cascade Little League of the greater Vancouver area. Click here for the latest updates on Facebook.

The Federal Way National Little League All-Stars 10/11 struggled through their game on July 18.

They faced Sammamish, and although both teams had 12 hits each, Sammamish came out on top during the final innings to defeat Federal Way, 9-8.

The game was a constant battle for the Nationals, who put up a good fight. Tate Wallat, Tommy Davis, Gavin Knapp and Travis Miller all got two hits each.

The Nationals’ next game is Thursday, July 19, at Freedom Field in Mill Creek. They face the Bainbridge Island team from District 2.
