Thomas Jefferson High School is set to host its annual basketball camp from starting 9:00 am and running to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23 at the high school.

The camp will run until June 26 and is open to boys and girls “entering grades 3rd-9th.” The cost is $100 per camper, and those who pre-register before June 7 will only have to pay $80. Participants will receive a t-shirt and basketball.

According to a brief press release from the school, the camp’s focus is on “fun while becoming better basketball players. Teamwork as well as individual skills will be improved throughout the week with special emphasis on shooting and ball handling.”

There is a 40 minute lunch break each day, and campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day as they will not be allowed to leave campus.

Those interested are urged to contact TJ basketball coach Kyle Templeton at 206-518-0503 or kyle.j.templeton@gmail.com. Registration can also be made the first day of camp.

Those interested in paying ahead of time by check can mail their check and registration form to Kyle Templeton, Thomas Jefferson High School, 4248 288th Street, Auburn, WA 98001.

Registration can also be completed in person at the high school from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays.
