Athlete of the Week:
Todd Beamer High School’s Brycen Dillworth, boys basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week District’s Choice for Jan. 4.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Math.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: I do puzzles and build Legos.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My mom.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Eat a Subway sandwich before every game.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Topanga” by Trippie Redd.
From the sideline: Junior Brycen Dillworth was a 1st team All-League defensive back on the League Champion Todd Beamer football team and his leadership skills have carried over into basketball season. He is a team captain and has helped the Titans go on a current four-game winning streak. He averages 10 points and five rebounds a game. Brycen is just as good in the classroom carrying a 3.7 GPA. Brycen will run track in the spring making him a three-sport athlete for the year. He is a leader on campus.
