Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week: Andrew Lettice

The freshman golfer is one of the highest scorers for the Eagles

The Mirror’s male athlete of the week for Sept. 22 is freshman Andrew Lettice of Federal Way High School, golf.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Spanish.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Golf, soccer, hanging out with friends and family, going to the movies, playing video games.

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Rampage,” “Happy Gilmore,” “Central Intelligence,” “The Covenant.”

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Any Gatorade and protein bar.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre-game: Head to the range, create/re-creating tough shots and practicing tempo. Post-game meal: Any food.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: No favorite song or artist. But favorite genre of music is rap/hip-hop.

From the sidelines: As a freshman, Andrew has taken on the role as the number one golfer on the boys team. In his first match, Andrew shot a 40 on 9 holes at Fairwood G.C. Andrew routinely shoots in the lower 40s per 9 holes. To date he has scored the most points on the team.
