What does it mean to be a good teammate? Why is it important to your success? What is one thing you do to help others around you?

Being a good teammate is being there whenever your teammates need you and showing out for them. So they can count on you. I’m always someone everyone can talk to about everything. This is important because your team makes you an athlete in a way.

If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. because growing up he really showed me that having a voice in your community matters . It’s important even if you’re scared and regardless of the outcome.

You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

Doritos Dinamitas and Pink Gatorade

Describe your favorite post-game meal:

My favorite post game meal is Carne Asada Fries and Carne Asada Burrito with a Fanta.

What is your Walk-up song?

“Bad and Boujee” by Migos

From the sidelines:

Salioudjan Bangoura demonstrates outstanding performances in the Shot Put and Discus at every practice and meet. She took 3rd at the Curtis Viking Relays. Salioudjan comes to practice every day with a smile on her face, putting in the work to get better. She is currently ranked 4th in District 3A in Shot Put. Salioudjan also ran on the girls 4×400 relay. She is willing to do whatever she is asked to do to help her team. A true Athlete of the Week.
