Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Current World Problems.

Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?

A: Painting and binge-watching shows.

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My Grandma – Rest in Peace.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve received when it comes to your sport?

A: Always play to your own strengths.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and post-meet meal.

A: Pre: Chew gum and listen to music. Post: Going out to eat.

From the sidelines: TJHS senior Maple Lucas has grown as a young woman and leader this basketball season. Her leadership on the court during the girls basketball district appearance was admirable. She was inspiring to her teammates on the court and on the sideline. Maple displayed what it is to be a student-athlete this season.
