Athlete of the Week:

Todd Beamer High School’s Rebecca Francis, girls bowling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 25.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite class is photography. Anatomy is a close second.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: I really enjoy painting and taking pictures.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mike David, he believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.

Q: Do you have a pre­game/competition ritual or post­game tradition, and what is it?

A: I always listen to “Break My Stride” before a match to pump myself up.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Life’s A Dance” by John Michael Montgomery.

From the sideline: Becca has been the captain of the bowling team the last two years. She has had the highest team average for the past two years. She qualified for West Central Districts this year. She has a competitive, enthusiastic and dedicated demeanor.
