Athlete of the Week:
Thomas Jefferson High School’s Danielle Allen, cheerleading, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 14.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: IB literature with Ms. Winslow.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Volunteering in my community and participating in leadership, as well as watching Netflix in my free time.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My mom has helped me and motivated me to push my limits and work hard.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: I usually listen to my “Hype” playlist on the way to the game.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Thank U, Next” by Ariana Grande.
From the sideline: Danielle is a role model both as a student and an athlete. Danielle participates in the IB program at TJHS, is involved in the mentoring leadership program, and fulfills her duties as captain of the cheer team. Danielle consistently shares new ideas and guides her team on how to improve school involvement and spirit. Danielle is a valuable member of the TJ community.
