The Mirror’s female athlete of the week for Dec. 7 is senior Chloe Bettelon of Decatur High School, bowling.

What is your favorite subject/class in school?

Drama class because I like theater and the teacher is cool.

What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

I enjoy performing in musicals, playing video games, drawing, and buying a yummy treat for myself.

Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

Dogma, Skyfall, Trolls Band Together, and No Country for Old Men (very difficult question, there are a lot of good movies)

You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

Gatorade and microwave chow mien, in this scenario I have a very advanced car that has a built-in microwave as well as running water.

Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

I spend $2.25 on a razzberry peace tea from the vending machine for my pre-game ritual. My favorite post-game meal is whatever my mom makes for dinner, she makes really good dinner.

Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

Just Like Honey by The Jesus and Mary Chain.

From the sidelines: Chloe is one of our total pin leaders on the Decatur HS Girls Bowling Team. The team is currently undefeated in league matches. Chloe earned an allocation to the WIAA 4A State Tournament last season. She will earn her third Varsity Letter Award this season. Chloe is also a lead actress in the Decatur HS Drama Program. She has been cast in lead roles in multiple performances. Chloe is an exemplary Scholar-Athlete, she has earned a 3.977 Cumulative Grade Point Average and is on track to earn her Associates Degree and High School Diploma in June.
