The 2008 District 10 Little League Baseball All-Star Tournament kicks off July 5 at Sunset Park in Auburn — and three Federal Way teams will be ready to go.

The 2008 District 10 Little League Baseball All-Star Tournament kicks off July 5 at Sunset Park in Auburn — and three Federal Way teams will be ready to go.

The Federal Way National, Federal Way American and Steel Lake Little League 11- and 12-year-old teams are three of 11 teams in the tournament, which includes leagues from Puyallup, Kent, Auburn, Fife, NE Tacoma, Enumclaw, Maple Valley and Bonney Lake.

The District 10 Tournament is the first step on the road to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. To qualify for the Little League World Series, an all-star team must win district, state and regional tournament titles.

Federal Way American will open the District 10 Tournament against Chinook Little League (Enumclaw and Buckley), Federal Way National takes on Auburn, and Steel Lake will play Tahoma (Maple Valley) on July 5.

The Federal Way American Little League all-star team includes Mitch Stewart, Rylan Cratsenberg, Alexander Lewis, Andrew Maertins, Kyren Proctor, Branden Shires, Garrett Brewer, Devin Pegues, Joe Potts, Ben Willis and Ian Korzeniecki.

The Federal Way National Little League team includes Nate Beets, Trevor Daniels, Ilima Sharp, Michael King, Spencer Austin, Casey Knapp, Brooks Westrick, DJ Klaas, Kenny Sheedy and George Foley. The team is coached by Kirk Westrick, who is assisted by Jim Knapp.

The Steel Lake Little League all-star team includes Tommy Amato, Jesse Fite, Drew Huttenlocker, Jake Kolterman, Hunter McSwain, Mikey Jojica, Jacob Nugent, Zachary Lane, Alex Poltz, Jordan Price, Clayton Regehr and Eddie Sweeney. The team is coached by Rich Price and Scott Kolterman.

The 2008 District 10 Little League Tournament concludes on July 13.

• The District 10 Junior Baseball Tournament kicked off Saturday at Brannon Park in Auburn. The tournament for 13-year-olds will conclude on July 6.

The Federal Way American team includes Skyler Beason, Tyler Bowen, Grant Burpee, Alec Dennis, Evan Elliot, Robby Gibbons, Brandon Hell, Jeffrey Lusink, Brenden Morgan, Kenneth Niles Jr., Sam Potts, Kyle Swallow and Kevin Woods. The team is coached by Ben Morgan, Harvey Markey and Randy Elliot.

The Federal Way National team is made up of Dylan Wanquist, Jacob Nelson, Kaden Pigg, Kyle Robbins, Sam Hahn, Marcus Lane, Dan Ide, Noah Clow, Andrew Baghai, Mark Haver, Wally Walls, Christian DeOro, Matt Fitzgerald and Niko Gregg. The team is coached by Casey Sample, Jesse Sample and Antonio Delgardo.

Steel Lake includes Neiko Asu, Nicholas Bod, David Borden, Ryan Borden, Mark Fitzgerald, Chad George, Trevor Gradel, Hunter Henry, Ben Knapp, Travis McCauley, Chris McKinnon and Tucker Smith. The team is coached by Jim Knapp and Darin George.

• The District 10 Senior Little League (14-15) Tournament kicked off Saturday at Brannon Park in Auburn.

The Federal Way American Senior team includes Jacob Chenoweth, Michael Cochran, Clark Colvin Jr., Cody Dodd, Blake Koler, Nathan Korzeniecki, Jorge Lopez, Nathen Steffins, Josh Swan, Joe Wholecheese, Brandon Wiley and Jason Wiley. The team is coached by Danny Dodd and Clark Colvin.

The Steel Lake Seniors include Jerrod Bachman, Jeff Edd, Sean Fogelberg, Campbell Flewelling, Mason Lapping, Erik Lindenauer, Chris Nishimura, Kevin Oyer, Travis Quackenbush, Ryan Rasmussen, Brian Thomason, Jory Tysdal, Chaz Woo, Dan Zumwalt and Tyler Zumwalt. The team is coached by Brent Edd and Jon Lindenauer.
