Shirley B. Lorenz (born Aug. 1, 1938, died Feb. 21, 2011) grew up in Everett, WA, and moved to Federal Way in 1961. She retired from Boeing in 1995. In 1997, she became one of the first volunteers at the Federal Way Police Department, something she was very passionate about. She will be greatly missed. She loved people, family and get-togethers. She is survived by her husband Dick, 3 daughters, 4 stepchildren, 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held March 11, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Pyramid Masonic Center in Federal Way.
