Ruth L. May, 86, a former Federal Way resident, died July 28.

She was born Sept. 29, 1916. She graduated in 1935 from West Seattle High School and attended two years of business college.

She worked at the Bon Marche for 19 years and was a 40-year Federal Way resident until moving to Eatonville less than three years ago.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Ruth Truva of Eatonville, Karen Sims of Billings, Mont. and Christi Bennington of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

Services were held Aug. 4. Arrangements were by Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home.
