Robert K. Edwards was born 80 years ago to Edward & Katherine Edwards in Columbus, Ohio. Bob’s postal career began in Kent as a mail carrier in 1970 and he later became an Acct. Rep. first in Seattle and then Tacoma. He enjoyed 20 years of retirement. Some of Bob’s volunteer work that spanned several years were with Brigadoon PTA, helping with Tacoma Sons of Norway breakfasts and treasurer of the Federal Way Performing Arts Coalition. The FWPCA raised a million dollars toward the building of the Performing Arts & Events Center. This is where he asked for his Celebration of Life be held.
