Clarence A. Miedema, 74, died June 27 in Tacoma.

He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in South Dakota.

He retired in 1992 after 40 years with Bill Gill Lincoln-Mercury of Tacoma.

Survivors include a son, Scott Miedema; daughters Chyrll Wilson and Michelle Hofer; five brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 2 at Merrill Gardens in Puyallup.
