Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log Dec. 2-7.

Dec. 2

Rite Aid robbed at gunpoint: At about 11:44 a.m. near the 2131 block of SW 336th Street, two male suspects jumped over the pharmacy counter at Rite Aid and robbed two employees at gunpoint. Four men were later arrested by Auburn police and processed at the Federal Way Police Department.

Pawn store robbed at gunpoint: At about 6:27 p.m. near the 32811 block of Pacific Highway South, four male suspects entered the Pawn 1 store and robbed the employees at gunpoint.

Accidental shooting: At about 9:05 p.m. near the 35700 block of 16th Avenue S., officers and South King Fire crews were dispatched to a report of an accidental shooting. A 9-year-old girl was shot in the abdomen and was transported to Harborview Medical Center. According to Harborview Spokesperson Susan Gregg, the girl is in satisfactory condition as of Dec. 9.

Dec. 3

Hit-and-run harassment: At about 3:07 p.m. near the 1800 block of S. 310th Street, a victim arrived at the Federal Way police station to report an ongoing harassment since Aug. 26. The victim stated he witnessed a hit-and-run on Aug. 26 and obtained the suspect vehicle’s license plate. Since the collision, the victim has been receiving several harassing voice messages and social media messages from the suspect vehicle’s registered owner. The suspect claimed to be an ex-police officer and the victim expressed his frustration and distrust with the police. The victim wishes to pursue criminal charges and the incident is under active investigation.

Dec. 4

Suspect throws cinder blocks: At about 2:43 p.m. near the 2032 block of S. 320th Street, a subject threw a rock and a cinder block at separate businesses, including Starbucks and East India Grill, and caused damage to the windows. A patron was possibly injured in one of the incidents. The subject was located nearby and was positively identified. The subject was transported to King County Jail.

Carjacked at gunpoint: At about 5:45 p.m. near the 1600 block of SW 312th Street, a victim and his friend were carjacked at gunpoint by two suspects known to them at the ARCO gas station.

Dec. 5

Machete, axe to the neck: At about 4:04 p.m. near the 1000 block of S. 352nd Street, multiple callers reported to 911 about a male suspect acting erratically while holding a machete and an axe to his neck. As the victim, who is also the store manager, attempted to close off entry points to the store, he told the suspect he needed to back away from the entrance. As the victim drove around the suspect to put more distance between them, the suspect threw the axe at his vehicle as it drove by, damaging the tire and rim. The suspect was involuntarily committed to the hospital.

Dec. 6

Man found shot in road: At about 9:25 p.m. near the 2000 block of SW 344th Street, officers responded to reports of an illegal firearm discharge. While officers were responding to the area, a person called 911 to report a man who had been shot and was lying in the road. Officers located the victim and started aid. The victim was later transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Dec. 7

Christmas tree chaos: At about 1:29 a.m. near the 31900 block of 3rd Place SW, officers responded to a physical domestic disturbance. A man had pushed the reporting party into their Christmas tree, causing the reporting party to fall and cut their lip.

Pistol whipped in parking lot: At about 10:35 a.m. near the 33702 block of 21st Avenue SW, the victim reported being pistol whipped in the Fred Meyer grocery store parking lot by an unknown suspect.

Wallet stolen at gunpoint: At about 7:22 p.m. near the 2506 block of 317th Street, a victim stated she was assaulted at gunpoint and her wallet was taken as she exited her vehicle.
