Two Federal Way men victims of fatal SeaTac shooting

King County Sheriff detectives recently announced that two victims of a SeaTac shooting were from Federal Way.

The fatal shooting occurred Thursday near South 154th Street and 24the Avenue South.

When police first arrived on the shooting yesterday they found one man on the ground next to the road, dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies were told another man was seen running from the scene. With the help of Guardian One, the man who ran from the scene was found in a wooded area just northwest of the shooting.

Detectives now know that man, later found in some woods nearby, was also a victim of the shooting.

Witnesses told detectives that the victim’s vehicle was driving eastbound on South 154th Street. An unknown male fired upon the victim’s vehicle from an unknown vehicle. The passenger of the victim’s vehicle fled the scene, however, the driver was struck.

The driver managed to exit the vehicle before collapsing. The victim’s vehicle, unoccupied, rolled eastbound past 24th Avenue South until it came to a stop about 50 yards east of the intersections.
