Suspect arrested in October 7-Eleven robbery in FW

In addition to the Federal Way robbery, he is also charged with committing three other robberies.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the October 2025 robbery of a 7-Eleven in Federal Way, followed by robberies in Kent.

According to a Federal Way Police Department case report, at approximately 7:16 p.m. Oct. 10, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 28000 block of Military Road South in Federal Way. The Mirror obtained a video of the incident via a public records request.

According to the case report, two men working at the 7-Eleven reported that they were both at the counter when a man in all-black entered the store. One of the employees stated that the man then pulled out what appeared to be a real black handgun from his waistband.

The employee said that the man then pointed the gun at him and told him to give him everything in the register. The employee stated that during the incident, he was very scared that he would get shot.

According to the report, the man left the scene on foot, and a K-9 track was initiated, but he was not located.

According to the report, a Tacoma man was arrested in connection with this case. However, he is also linked to gas station robberies in Kent and Seattle. The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO) charged the Tacoma man in connection with two alleged Kent robberies on Oct. 13.

According to KCPAO spokesperson Douglas Wagoner, the Kent Police Department and the Federal Way Police Department merged its cases regarding the suspect in the three robberies, and the investigation is ongoing. Wagoner said that additional charges could be added depending on the results of the ongoing investigation.

Charging documents state that the Tacoma man was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of second-degree assault related to two different Kent robberies on the early morning of Oct. 13.

Documents state that at 1:54 a.m. Oct. 13, the Tacoma man robbed a gas station in the 26000 block of Pacific Highway South in Kent, and fired his handgun once during the incident. Documents state that about 15 minutes later, there was a call that a 7-Eleven was being robbed in the 500 block of Central Avenue South in Kent.

In the second incident, the Tacoma man allegedly shot his gun twice at the ground, and then, as he was leaving, he fired his gun three times toward the office where the clerk he robbed was hiding after the robbery.

Documents state that officers later identified the Tacoma man as the suspect because Flock cameras tracked his car, linking it to the Kent robberies. He was also seen at his apartment wearing the same clothes and accessories as when he robbed the Kent gas station.

Documents state the Tacoma man is a suspect in the Oct. 10 Federal Way robbery, an Oct. 11 robbery in Seattle and the Oct. 13 Kent robberies.
