• Ballots can be returned at a ballot drop box or through the mail, which requires a first class stamp. Ballots must be postmarked by Aug. 16 or returned to a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. Aug. 16. Eleven drop boxes will open on July 28, and locations are listed on the Elections website and in the voters’ pamphlet. (click here for locations)

• In Federal Way, a drop box for ballots is available at Federal Way City Hall, 33325 8th Ave. S.

Voters who do not receive a ballot by Aug. 6 should contact King County Elections for a replacement: (206) 296-8683.

• For disabled voters, the county offers accessible voting stations at Seattle’s Union Station, 401 S. Jackson St.; Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE; and the King County Elections headquarters, 919 SW Grady Way in Renton.

• The in-person deadline to register to vote is Aug. 8. Registration can be done in person at the King County Elections office in Renton.
