Students fight: At 2:18 p.m. at a Federal Way high school, a school resource officer reported that one student tried to fight another student, which led to multiple students wanting to get involved. The probation officer of one of the students advised that they had gotten dumped that day, and they were taking their aggression out on others. Both students had a history of fighting.
Facebook Marketplace robbery: At 4:46 p.m. in the 1600 block of South 312th Street, there was a report from someone who said they had met with someone to buy a cellphone and when they met with the seller, the seller exchanged the phone for money, but then punched the victim, took the phone back and ran. The victim stated that they did not want to assist with prosecution as they were leaving the country soon.
Prayers turn into pickpocketing: At 4:20 p.m. in the 28999 block of Military Road South, a man reported that he was stopped on his way into a grocery store by a group of people who asked if they could pray over him. The man said yes, but after the prayer had concluded and the subjects left, all of his money from his wallet had been stolen. Video footage of the subjects’ vehicle was not able to capture the license plate.
Report of assault on police: At 9:58 p.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a simple assault on police.

Employer stealing with customer: At 8:36 a.m. in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, there was a report that a manager advised that one of his employees colluded with a customer to steal items from the store. The reporting party said that the whole incident is recorded.
Vicious dog: At 3:27 p.m. in the 31000 block of 1st Avenue South, there was a report that a dog bit a human. The dog was declared vicious.
Firearm with modifications: At 3:37 p.m. in the 28000 block of Military Road South, there was a report of a male seen carrying a firearm. Officers made contact and found that the male had a modified firearm. The male was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
Costco employee steals over $1,000 of liquor: At 5:10 p.m. in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, a Costco employee was discovered to be stealing expensive liquor with the help of an accomplice. The employee involved was told about the investigation and volunteered to bring part of the stolen goods back. Police were called, and a theft case was generated. Only half of the stolen items were valued at over $1,000.
Man sending child images to Walmart: At 2:39 p.m. in the 34000 block of 16th Avenue South, Walmart employees reported that orders for inappropriate photos of children were sent to their online print order kiosk. A man was identified in the photos whom officers possibly matched to a man in police databases. Case forwarded to criminal investigations.
Bullet fragment found in house: At 3:57 p.m. in the 37000 block of 22nd Avenue South, there was a report that someone found a bullet fragment in the wall of their home. Officers took custody of the fragment and logged it into evidence.

Great Clips burglary: At 9:43 a.m. in the 34000 block of Hoyt Road Southwest, there was a report that officers responded to a commercial burglary at Great Clips. Both front and back doors were locked. A large hole was discovered behind the office door, the method of entry. Spare key stolen along with safe and cash.
Homicide report: At 4:57 p.m. on South 320th Street, there was a report of a shooting death at an apartment complex.
May 4

Dog dispatched: At 1:02 a.m. in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway South, an officer reported that he saw a small chihuahua severely injured in the roadway. The officer determined that the severity of the injuries was so severe that the animal was suffering greatly, so they dispatched it. The officer wrapped the dog in a blanket to comfort it before dispatching it with his firearm on the side of the road. Remains were disposed of.
Juvenile crashes car: At 5:01 p.m. in the 29000 block of 21st Place South, there was a report that a witness said they saw a juvenile operating a motor vehicle who hit a tree before fleeing the scene. The juvenile was located, and it was discovered that the vehicle was his mother’s. The juvenile was released to his mother.

Car pursuit: At 12:57 a.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers located a stolen vehicle, and it began to flee from officers. Officers lost sight of the vehicle, and it was later found abandoned. It was processed for latent prints.

Illegal discharge: At 1:13 a.m. in the 32000 block of 19th Place South, there was a report of an illegal discharge. After searching the area, several spent shell casings were found.
