June 4

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Report of a shooting: At 1:25 a.m. on Southwest 329th Way, there was a report that a female said that someone had fired multiple rounds at her vehicle as she drove off during a verbal argument. No evidence of a shooting, including vehicle damage or injuries.

Hit-and-run: At 9:40 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 324th Street, there was a report about a recent hit-and-run at Scoreboard Tavern.

Vehicle on fire: At 2:30 a.m. on 21st Avenue Southwest, the boyfriend of a woman called to report that his girlfriend was suicidal and harming herself. Officers then found her near her vehicle, which was crashed and on fire.

June 5

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

June 6

There was one vehicle theft reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Threats with a knife: At 12:14 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Star Lake Road, there was a report of threats with a knife.

Car thief flees: At 2:42 p.m. in the 28000 block of 26th Avenue South, a report was made that a juvenile was arrested after a traffic stop was attempted on a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The juvenile fled on foot, but was later captured.

June 7

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Gunshot wound victim: At 12:36 a.m. in the 29000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers responded to an emergency for a report of a gunshot wound victim. The victim was related to an incident that originated in Kent.

OfferUp scam: At 8:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Southwest Campus Drive, there was a report from a victim who said that they met with an online OfferUp seller and while he was talking with one person, two other people stole property from his vehicle. The victim was uncooperative and didn’t want to file charges and hung up on the responding officer. The case is closed. The victim is uncooperative.

Driving under the influence arrest: At 3:10 p.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a vehicle injury accident. The driver of vehicle one showed signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.

June 8

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

DUI driver passed out: At 3:35 a.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers found a vehicle at the intersection with a male passed out in the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested for DUI. He was also cited for obstructing justice.

Assault with a knife: At 3:56 p.m. in the 28000 block of Military Road South, there was a report of an assault with a knife.

Car break-in near Wild Waves: At 6:09 p.m. in the 36000 block of Milton Road South, there was a report from the victim stating that she had parked her car on the street near Wild Waves to enter the theme park, and when she returned, she found her car had been broken into.

June 9

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Child falls out of window: At 9 p.m. in the 1000 block of South 320th Street, there was a report that Federal Way officers responded with King County Medic One for reports of a child who fell from a fourth-floor apartment unit. The child was stabilized by medics. According to all accounts, a bystander was able to catch the child before the child struck the ground. There was no crime or other suspicious circumstances.

June 10

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

People point firearm at driver: At 1:23 a.m. in the 500 block of South Dash Point Road, there was a report from the victim who said that he was driving westbound on Dash Point Road when two unidentified Black males wearing ski masks had walked in the road and pointed their firearms at the victim. The victim fled the scene and contacted officers at Sacajawea Park.

Chased on bike and bag stolen: At 3:33 p.m. in the 31000 block of 23rd Avenue South, there was a report that officers responded to a theft report at the downtown substation. A male subject had been chased by an unknown male on a bike and dropped his backpack. The unknown male on the bike stopped, took the male subject’s backpack and rode off.

Man said he was robbed: At 2:19 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 312th Street, an officer was dispatched to a subject walking in traffic and blocking traffic. The officer contacted the subject, who appeared high. The subject reported being robbed, but he would not cooperate with the investigation. The officer observed the subject intentionally blocking traffic. SCORE jail declined to book her on a Department of Corrections warrant. The officer cited her and released her.
