Pacific Bonsai Museum seeking volunteer docents

Applications due Feb. 25.

The Pacific Bonsai Museum is seeking volunteer docents for 2022.

Docents help meet, speak with and educate visitors to the museum, and also lead tours to help connect people with nature. They are trained volunteer museum guides, linking the public to the art.

No personal bonsai-making experience is necessary; just an interest in bonsai, good communication skills, and joy of sharing with the public.

Volunteering as a docent consists of approximately 4 to 8 hours a month with virtual and in-person options.

Applications for the 2022 season are being accepted now through Friday, Feb. 25.

The Pacific Bonsai Museum is located at 2515 S. 336th Street in Federal Way. To apply as a docent, visit or email
