Motorcyclist dies at Pacific Highway South and Dash Point Road

The man struck the side of an RV.

A man died during a motorcycle accident in Federal Way after colliding with an RV.

Christian D. Marmol Hernandez, 30, died on Aug. 24, at Dash Point Road and Pacific Highway. According to the King County Medical Examiner, the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, the manner of death was an accident and the location was on the roadway.

According to Federal Way Police Department Cmdr. Kyle Buchanan, Marmol Hernandez was operating a motorcycle southbound on Pacific Highway South and entered the intersection at Dash Point Road where he struck the side of a turning RV.

“Unfortunately, the motorcyclist passed away after the impact,” Buchanan said. “The case is being investigated by our major accident investigation team.”
