Man stabbed multiple times at Federal Way motel

Suspect was not located, police said.

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a man multiple times at a Federal Way motel on Tuesday morning.

Around 4 a.m. May 4, Federal Way officers responded to a reported stabbing at a motel in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway South.

A man in his early 30s called 911 to report he had been stabbed multiple times in the back and once in the neck during an altercation, according to Cmdr. Kurt Schwan of Federal Way police. The victim was unable to provide any suspect information and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.

A K-9 track was attempted, but no suspect was located. Detectives have responded and are assisting with the investigation.
