Local Airmen graduate from basic training

Air Force Airmen Trevor S. Stephens and Sierra R. Warriner graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force Airmen Trevor S. Stephens and Sierra R. Warriner graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Stephens and Warriner completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stephens is the son of Margaret A. Stephens of Federal Way.

He is a 2011 graduate of Federal Way High School.

Warriner is the daughter of Cheryl A. Warriner-Durham and step-daughter of Dave M. Durham of Federal Way, granddaughter of Ted F. and Joanie Warriner of Fox Island, Washington, and Janet Clark of Federal Way.

She is a 2013 graduate of Decatur High School.
