Mirror staff reports:

A fire was reported early this morning at the Cove Apartments, located at 120 SW 332nd St. (off 1st Avenue South) in Federal Way.

No injuries have been reported, and damage was contained to one unit.

South King Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire within 30 minutes. There is heat and smoke damage that extends from the apartment unit into the attic. The building was evacuated and everybody got out safely, according to a SKFR spokeswoman. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
