Beatrice Gregg, a resident at Life Care Center of Federal Way, celebrated her 100th birthday on Jan. 28, 2011. She was surrounded by several family members Friday, including her son Bob Gregg of Moorpark, Calif., and granddaughter Farrah Gregg of Federal Way.

She has been a Federal Way resident for 13 years and has lived at Life Care for the past three years, her son said.

Gregg was born on a homestead in Roundup, Mont., and eventually moved to Seattle with her late husband, George, who died in 1997 after 55 years of marriage. Gregg attended nursing school in Seattle, but eventually had a 25-year career with the Ford Motor Company, starting in the 1940s.
