Every year, the Federal Way Rotary Club awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors based on their financial need, scholastic achievements, leadership skills and service to the community.

This year, the Federal Way Rotary will award $1,000 scholarships to 16 Federal Way high school students. The Rotary Scholarship Class of 2011 is Alyssa Barrett, Federal Way High School; Pekthra Chanthol, Federal Way; Emily Charbonneau, Decatur High School; Kegan Erickson, Todd Beamer High School; Jose Hernandez, Todd Beamer; Elvia Rocio Guzman, Federal Way; Anthony Larios, Federal Way; Mandissa Jo Lewis, Federal Way; Che’vaniece Marshall, Todd Beamer; Cristina Medina, Federal Way; Dan Nzabanita, Todd Beamer; Miriam Sanchez, Federal Way; Christina Sessoms, Decatur; Jun Shim, Todd Beamer; Julian Son, Todd Beamer; Justin Tanapukdee, Todd Beamer.
