Federal Way police are looking for a missing 82-year-old Federal Way man who has been reported missing since Saturday night.

James R. White called his wife at 6 p.m. to report he was heading home from a golf tournament in Tukwila at Foster Golf Links at 13500 Interurban Ave. S. White’s daughter called police just after 11 p.m. when he still had not returned, saying such behavior is “very unusual” and that White “has never gone missing before in the past,” according to police records.

White’s daughter told police that her father “has no diagnosed medical conditions” but “may have un-diagnosed Alzheimer’s because he is very forgetful.”

White was last seen seen wearing a checkered blue-and-white T-shirt, gray slacks and possibly a gray hat. He left his home at 8 a.m. Saturday in a white 2000 Ford truck bearing Washington license plate A23830K. The vehicle has a canopy on the back.

White’s Federal Way home is located in the 33000 block of 28th Place Southwest. His family reported that he has no specific location that he frequents but mentioned that he bowls at Secoma Lanes (34500 Pacific Hwy S, Federal Way) every Monday and Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Federal Way Police Department at 253-835-2121.
