The Federal Way Mission Church, located at 405 S. 312th St., is donating $2,000 to the Federal Way police, South King Fire and Rescue, Multi-Service Center and Life Care Center.

Each agency will receive $500 each, church member Woody Ahn said. Ahn said the money will go to help Federal Way residents in need this holiday season. The church hopes its actions will encourage other residents and agencies to donate to charitable causes this season, he said.
