Thomas Jefferson High School senior Evelyn Stillgebauer, bowling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 3.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Digital and physical art, Legos, video games.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom, she always inspired me and helped me stay confident.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: Stay confident! If you think you aren’t going to make a shot, then you aren’t.

Q: Describe your pre-match ritual?

A: Pre-game: Relax, have a snack, fun on the bus – it helps get me in game mode. Post-game meal: Mozzarella sticks or Legendary Doughnuts.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Astronomy” by Conan Gray.

From the sideline: TJHS senior Evelyn Stillgebauer holds a cumulative 4.0 GPA. On Nov. 23 against Decatur, Evelyn bowled a 190 and 170.
