Through May 22, Centerstage will present the latest in this series of co-productions and the latest play by “Girls’ Night” playwright Louise Roche: the acclaimed London hit “HELP! My Husband Has Gone Missing; My Daughter is Getting Married & I am Having Hot Flashes!”

Funny and tender, “HELP…!” is ideal entertainment for a girls’ night out. Barbara has just survived an eventful and significant birthday, which has her thinking about many things – not the least of which are the merits of Spanx and Botox. Join her as she goes on a hilarious, emotional, intriguing and ultimately uplifting journey.

Roche is one of England’s most exciting and popular young dramatists. She wrote “Glutton for Punishment,” which was published by Pan Books, while she was still at the University of East Anglia studying linguistics. Since 1999, she has written “Frankie’s Game,” “Girls Night,” “Bobby & Johnny,” “Lucky Balls,” “Girls Behind,” “True Love,” “Checkout Girls” and “Girls Night Too.”

“HELP!” features Kathy Cogan, who started in theater at a young age when she played Lucy in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.”

That performance earned her a scholarship at the prestigious Stella Adler conservatory in New York City. Her theater credits include “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and “The Vagina Monologues,” as well as her two Off-Broadway shows “The Nail Room” and “Vatican II the Explanation.”

All shows are at the Knutzen Family Theatre. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors and military personnel, and $15 for anyone under 25 years old and can be purchased via 253-661-1444 or www.centerstagetheatre.com. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
