‘Casino Night’ to benefit local schools

Communities In Schools of Federal Way will host a Casino Night fundraiser at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center (650 SW Campus Dr., Federal Way) from 6-10 p.m. on Sept. 30 to benefit students in need.

Communities In Schools of Federal Way will host a Casino Night fundraiser at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center (650 SW Campus Dr., Federal Way) from 6-10 p.m. on Sept. 30 to benefit students in need.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at federalway.ciswa.org.

Guests can try their luck at blackjack, roulette, “Let It Ride” poker, and craps using “funny money.” There will also be two $50 buy-in Texas Hold’em tournaments during the night – 10 people per round. Throughout the evening, attendees will earn raffle tickets by “Gambling for Good.” At the end of the night, there will be a raffle drawing for over $3,000 in prizes. The ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres provided by Cafe Pacific Catering, one beer or wine ticket, one raffle prize ticket and $20 in “funny money” to start “Gambling for Good.” Beer, wine and a signature cocktail will be for sale.
