‘The Wedding Singer’ opens this week at Decatur

Based on the 1998 Adam Sandler movie, “The Wedding Singer” features music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy.

Directed by Toby Dycus, with musical direction by Steve Gorringe, “The Wedding Singer” plays in the Decatur Performing Arts Center at 2800 SW 320th St. in Federal Way on April 23, 24, 25 and 30 as well as May 1 and 2. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for students with an ASB card, or $10 without. April 25 is ’80s night — come dressed in your best 1980s attire and get $1 off admission.
