The next edition of Jazz LIVE at Marine View will feature guitar maestro Pearl Django at 5 p.m. Nov. 13 at 8469 Eastside Drive NE, Tacoma.

Appearing as a special guest vocalist is the vocal icon of the Northwest, Greta Matassa. With a strong influence by the music of Django Reinhardt, Pearl Django’s music crosses many musical tastes, admired by guitar enthusiasts, fans of string music and bluegrass, “world music” followers drawn to French and Gypsy accents and jazz buffs and aficionados of the new swing music. Matassa has mentored legends of vocalists through her teaching and giving of her time to further the careers of others.
