Centerstage’s newest production, “I Love You Because,” is set to hit the stage Feb. 5 through Feb. 21 at Knutzen Family Theatre, 3200 SW Dash Point Road. The romantic comedy is about contemporary dating in New York City. The off Broadway musical tells the story of Austin Bennet, a greeting card writer, who is almost as predictable as the greeting cards he writes. Marcy, a flighty photographer, never seems to find the right man. So when Austin shows up at his girlfriend Catherine’s apartment one night, only to find her in bed with another man, his brother sets him up with Marcy.

Centerstage will also be pairing with Salty’s at Redondo for show package: Dinner or brunch and a ticket to the show for $50. Make reservations at (253) 945-8248. Reservations for the Feb. 13-14 are expected to sell out.
