When your teammates see you being a leader and doing the right things, it can encourage them to be better as a team or individual person.

Tellez’s career numbers speak for themselves. He totaled 15 interceptions, an incredible six of which he returned for touchdowns, along with three fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. This season he proved to be the ultimate do-everything athlete, lining up at safety, corner, slot receiver, running back, and even taking snaps as a Wildcat quarterback in the Eagles’ final game. He also handled snapping duties on PATs, served as the team’s punter, and was Federal Way’s primary kick returner. Quite simply, Tellez was a true jack of all trades—and excelled at all of them
