The following is a press release from Federal Way Public Schools:

No child should go hungry. Children need to have access to nutrition all year long, including the summer months when school is out.

Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS) is once again a sponsor of the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for children.

With 68% of FWPS’ student population receiving free and reduced lunch services, programs like these are important for students’ health and well-being. Meals will be available at no charge to any child 18 years of age or younger.

Meals will be offered at multiple sites across the district, including school and mobile sites that will be served via FRED bus.
